"Inspiring Global Learning"

What is "blended learning"?

  • a mix of online and offline learning

  • a compromise between learning in the traditional f2f classroom and learning online through interactive Web-based communication tools

What are CALL lessons?

  • lessons carried out with a computer, a video projector, an Internet connection and online activities prepared in advance by the teacher to be done collaboratively by the students

  • periodical lessons (every two weeks) based on activities to develop basic skills in the FL in a different, globally collaborative, exciting and very motivating way through different Web 2.0 tools

  • lessons based on activities that promote constructivist learning: working collaboratively in the construction of their knowledge

  • lessons where students use technology as another "tool" for learning, as a "means" to an end: language learning and developing autonomy

  • lessons that enable students to become co-responsible for their knowledge and be publishers of their work

  • lessons that develop computer skills and e-literacy in a seamless way
